apply的用法：

　　一、apply表示“應(yīng)用”、“運(yùn)用”、“適用”等，注意以下用法：

　�、俦硎尽皯�(yīng)用”、“運(yùn)用”等，通常為及物動(dòng)詞；要表示“將...運(yùn)用到...”，通常用介詞 to：

　　We decided to apply a new method. 我們決定使用新方法。

　　In this way we can better apply theory to practice. 這樣我們就能更好地把理論運(yùn)用到實(shí)踐中去。

　�、诒硎尽斑m用”，通常為不及物動(dòng)詞；要表示“適用于...”，通常用介詞 to(不能用 for)：

　　二、apply表示“申請(qǐng)”，注意以下用法：

　　He applied to stay there. 他申請(qǐng)留在那兒。

　　比較以下兩同義句：

　　去年他申請(qǐng)入黨。

　　正：Last year he applied to join the Party.

　　He applied to us for help. 他向我們求援。
